Monitor rhinos, track lions, observe zebras and other wildlife, while being a part of conservation and research. Learn about African wildlife and what it takes to make sure that the giants, the striped and spotted, the silent and noisy will survive for decades to come.
The Wildlife Conservation Program gives wildlife enthusiasts of all ages and backgrounds an opportunity to get involved in the conservation and sustainability of African wildlife and ecosystems. You will play a critical role in the continuation of our research efforts.
You will spend five days per week assisting in various capacities of wildlife conservation. – field work
– collecting date
– entering data into our systems
– observing and monitoring rhino & other species
The credo of Nkonzo is “Educate, Act, Empower” and summarizes the ideals and goals of the program you are part of.
Through hands-on initiatives and education students leave Nkonzo with a better understanding of the problems plaguing African wildlife, the efforts being made to assuage these issues, and how they can continue to work with conservation and make a change for the better of wildlife, ecosystems, and our planet as a whole.
You will have relaxed evenings in lively Mosselbay amongst like- minded people and adventurous weekends, walking with elephants, realizing that the great whites have personalities, exploring the little sea -side towns while counting whale blows and watching dolphins frolic in the waves.
Prices start at: EUR 1099.- for 14 nights
including: Shared accommodation (dorm style), breakfast 7 days per week, lunch Monday-Friday, conservation fees, daily access to game reserve, work related transport,
